Mod content not auto loading when trying to join a server
I have looked for solutions and kinda found them. My PwS refuses to autoload the mods when I attempt to join a server. I literally have to put in the start up params to get them to load. They are there in the default folder and everything. They have also been downloaded through PwS. Occasionally when I attempt to join a server and it kicks me for whatever reason I'll have one or two of the mods autoloaded. For instance I just tried to join The Wrecking Crew ACE+ACRE public server at 31.132.1.45:2302 and the only things autoloaded were ARMA 2, Beta, Expansion,@CBA,@CBA_A2.I am running CO through steam.

For next build we've switched to using the .par startup parameter file format, which should resolve the issues experienced with the Steam launcher launch option.

For next build we've removed the long pathnames from mods, as mods in the game folder or my documents\arma 2 folder do not require the paths.
This should solved the issue in most cases. -
Hi,
I can reproduce the issue when running through the Steam Launcher.
It appears the Steam Launcher cuts off the startup parameters at a certain length.
It might also be a windows limitation. I will have a closer look soon.
For the time being, please disable the "Use Steam Launcher" option.
Alternatively, by moving the mods back to the game folder, and adjusting the Mod Path in PwS Game browser settings accordingly, might give enough space for all the mods to work.
Thanks.

You are correct. After disabling PwS to launch Arma 2:OA through steam, it allows the launcher to load all of the mods needed for the server. Thank you very much for the quick reply! I love the accessibility of the program with the auto loading of mods.

This can probably be resolved by switching to the arma .par startup parameters format. We'll look into it.
